Brevard, NC \u2013 July 22, 2021 \u2013 SylvanSport<\/span>, the Brevard, NC-based maker of innovative trailers and camping gear, invites you to the grand opening of their factory store on Monday, July 26th at their production facility on Welcome Street. The grand opening coincides with SylvanSport\u2019s 17th birthday, and will be celebrated with prizes, product demos, and discounts.<\/p>

Founded by Tom Dempsey in 2004, SylvanSport is best known for their smartly designed camping gear and innovative trailers, including the GO pop-up camper, which has garnered international recognition, multiple awards, and a passionate following of adventure campers. The majority of components for the SylvanSport GO camping trailer are sourced from within 100 miles of Brevard, and each trailer is assembled at their Brevard facility. While the brand has occupied the Welcome Street facility since 2019, this is their first time offering a factory store for locals and tourists to browse their selection of camping gear and trailers.<\/p>

\u201cSylvanSport has always embraced the vision of being a brand that provides anything you need to enjoy the outdoors,\u201d says Ann Buchman, VP of Marketing & Sales for SylvanSport. \u201cGiven our proximity to so many wonderful outdoor attractions, we wanted to give locals and tourists alike the opportunity to come stock up on our camping gear before heading to Pisgah, DuPont, Gorges, or wherever they may be adventuring. Our new factory store will allow folks to see and test out our camping gear, and it will also allow us to provide in-person demos of our trailers and campers.\u201d<\/p>

The store\u2019s grand opening coincides with the 17th year of business for SylvanSport, and the brand is celebrating with a birthday event on Monday, July 26th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at 21 Welcome Street (on Ecusta Road). The celebration will include discounts of 25% off their camping gear (not trailers), prizes including one gear giveaway per hour, plus product demos to show off the clever features of their camping gear and trailers.
