Deputies initially responded to a call that someone shot into a trailer home from a vehicle. A silver sedan reportedly pulled up near the home and shots were fired as the family inside was getting ready for bed or already sleeping.

‘This is the daily toll of gun violence. Gun violence in the US can’t be viewed as a solitary issue.

Anyone with information on the shooting is urged to contact the sheriff’s office or Crime Stoppers of Houston.
