A phantom gardener is being hunted in the US after he broke into a home then mowed their lawn.
Marcus Renard Hubbard allegedly made his way into the home in south east Texas on – ironically – April Fool’s Day.
He then filled the owner’s push lawn mower with fuel and began trimming the grass to the front and back of the house.
Security footage shows him pushing the device along a picket fence.
He even stops to pick up sticks of the fence that had previously fallen off. He moves them out of the way so that he can continue with the yard work.
The homeowner contacted police to say an unknown person was cutting their grass.
When they arrived, the man pulled the lawnmower behind him and ran into a nearby alley.
Port Arthur Police Department are still looking for the suspect who is not believed to have stolen anything.
