goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga is closing in on a loan move to Napoli, according to reports in Italy.
The 27-year-old, who moved to Stamford Bridge in a £71.6 million deal from Athletic Bilbao in 2018, has spent the past two seasons as Chelsea’s No.2 following the arrival of .
According to , Napoli are now close to reach an agreement to sign Kepa on loan for the upcoming season.
It’s understood that Chelsea have agreed to pay 75% of Kepa’s salary, which is in the region of £150,000 a week.
Chelsea are still to reach a final agreement with Napoli with the Premier League club requesting two bonus payments of €1.5m (£1.2m) as part of the deal.
Kepa, meanwhile, is open to the prospect of joining Napoli, who are looking to replace David Ospina after he left to join Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr earlier this month.
