Super Eagles star Shehu Abdullahi has announced the arrival of his son as the Nigerian international who is in camp for the play-off against Ghana celebrates, Linda Ikeji’s Blog reports.
The 29-year-old and his wife, Kannywood star Naja’atu Muhammad Suleiman, welcomed their first child on Thursday, March 24.
The utility player walked down the aisle with Naja’atu in June last year as his international teammate and longtime best friend Ahmed Musa congratulated him.
And now they have welcomed their first child together and it’s a boy. The delighted player wrote on Twitter:
“We are thrilled to announce our baby boy, mother and baby are in good health. We thank Allah! We were blessed with the arrival of our son this morning. We appreciate your prayers.”
It was gathered that Abdulahi was once married to the mother of his children Sumayya Mustapha but they have been through rough patches in the past.
The AC Omonia star won the league title with the Cypriot side last season decided to tie the knot with his partner who has been a Kannywood star since she was ten.
The right-wing back is part of the Super Eagles squad that will prosecute the World Cup play-offs against the Black Stars of Ghana.
