Ryan Mason has been in charge since and Levy has been working behind-the-scenes to appoint a new manager in time for the transfer window, which opens on June 10th.
Slot took charge at Feyenoord in 2021 and guided the club to third in the table during his debut season, as well as runners-up in the Europa Conference Final against Roma.
The Dutchman has taken that a step further this term by winning the title for only the second time this century, ahead of the likes of Ajax and PSV Eindhoven.
And, after reportedly deciding against a move for Julian Nagelsmann, the Athletic say Spurs have decided to appoint Slot.
The north Londoners are therefore preparing a formal approach to Feyenoord and they’re hopeful that Slot will be persuaded to move to the club.
