Who is Bruno Saltor?
Bruno moved to Chelsea alongside Potter when the Englishman was from Brighton back in September.
Bruno had been a part of Potter’s backroom team on the south coast having been appointed as a senior player development coach in June 2019.
The 42 year-old is regarded as a legend, having made 235 appearances for the Seagulls during his seven years at the club as a player.
Bruno, formerly a right back, played the majority of his career in his native Spain for the likes of Espanyol, Almeria and Valencia.
He made the switch to Brighton from Valencia in 2012 and played a crucial role in helping the club achieve promotion to the in 2017.
He even captained Brighton in the competition before calling time on his playing days in 2019 following an 18-year spell in the game.
After the Liverpool clash, Chelsea will head to Molineux to face Wolves on Saturday, before the small matter of their Champions League quarter-final first leg against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.
Chelsea co-owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali said in the statement confirming Potter’s departure: ‘Along with our incredible fans, we will all be getting behind Bruno and the team as we focus on the rest of the season.
‘We have 10 Premier League games remaining and a Champions League quarter final ahead.
‘We will put every effort and commitment into every one of those games so that we can end the season on a high.’
